“Civilizzare l’urbano ETS” – focuses on the last twenty years of the long adventure of a “feuille internationale d’architecture” always looking to the future. In June a “Satellite Event” of the New European Bauhaus Festival 2026, the exhibition intertwines “ecological conversion / symbiosis / ecosyntonic approach / poetics of the fragment”, cornerstones based on experimentation and in-depth analysis.
The exhibition touches on “OrbiTecture” – research for the Fourth Environment that contributes to new reflections on transforming living environments on our planet – and also to the “European Design Code for Quality of Living Environments”, a precondition for improving the human condition everywhere, which aims to raise the quality of demand and indicates conditions that recognise the substantial instrumental role of design.
Of the nearly three hundred titles published since 1958, the exhibition highlights only a few – mainly from the recent period – accompanying the references with short texts.
The exhibition is supported by an interactive virtual display through digital transposition on panels accompanied by hyperlinks to related multimedia materials.
