The architecture of the library contains the sense of an encounter between different civilisations, which have never met for millennia, but which share a common interest in astronomy.
The conception concerns the landscape: interpretation of places and climate: the dynamic vision, the indispensable synthesis on a motorway scale and the richness of articulation for the close-up view, the relationship with the city; the library can be recognised from above: memory of the ancient Naska tracks and at ground level for the play of differences in level and the ancestral sense of the typical pre-Columbian cultures: the articulation of the interior spaces arises around the court, water, oasis, signs of Islamic architecture.
